We value our readers and we value your privacy, we comply to recommended safety guards including having the HTTPS in our URL making our site secure, we aim to link to safe sites that we trust and we handpick any banner ads that we place on our pages, we don’t want to link you to somewhere we wouldn’t want to go!
‘Hyper Text Transfer Protocol Secure (HTTPS) is the secure version of HTTP, the protocol over which data is sent between your browser and the website that you are connected to. The ‘S’ at the end of HTTPS stands for ‘Secure‘. It means all communications between your browser and the website are encrypted.’ Googled
Don’t panic if you don’t see HTTPS on a website you are visiting but you should expect to see it on pages where you are transfering personal data such as making a payment. Sometimes the HTTPS has a line through usually due to outward links that do not have the same status as the one you are on. Hope that clears it up a little.
